Neither birds nor bats, pterosaurs were reptiles, close cousins of dinosaurs who evolved on a separate branch of the reptile family tree. They were also the first animals after insects to evolve powered flight—not just leaping or gliding, but flapping their wings to generate lift and travel through the air. They evolved into dozens of species. Some were as large as an F-16 fighter jet, and others as small as a paper airplane.
Let’s get to explore the famous species which My Dinosaurs already have:
Quetzalcoatlus
A pterodactyloid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous of North America, and the largest known flying animal to have ever lived. It was a member of the Azhdarchidae, a family of advanced toothless pterosaurs with unusually long, stiffened necks. It was one of the biggest known pterosaur species.

Angustinaripterus Longicephalus
This name was given to this creature by HE Xinlu in the year 1983. The term Angustinaripterus was derived from the Latin Word angustus. It is assumed that this creature would have got this name on the basis of its appearance.
From the fossils of this creature, it was found that it would have had a skull length of 165mm. It was also found that it would have got a narrow nostril and it would have also got wings. A single skull of the creature with lower jaws was found in the year 1981 by the team of researchers from the Zigong Historical museum of the salt industry.

Dsungaripterus
A pterodactyloid pterosaur that lived in the Early Cretaceous period in northwestern China and first discovered by Chinese scientist C.C. Young in the Junggar Basin of northwestern China in 1964.
With 10 feet (3 m) wide leathery wings, it had a curved jaw and two crests, one on the top of its head and a shorter one at the rear of its skull. It had an unusual bony crest running along its snout and had long, narrow, curved jaws with a pointed tip.

Pteranodon
The name means “wings and no teeth.” It was one of the largest pterosaurs. Lived in huge flocks and cruised over the ocean looking for fish to scoop up in its slender, pointed beak. Like most pterosaurs of the Cretaceous Period, Pteranodon was a short-tailed, long-legged animal with a massive head.
